Hell is an eternal place whose damned are unable to have experience, nor are they able to pursue thought; they are primal beings in the blankest sense. Heaven holds everlasting beings who are not only aware of the lives they've led, but are dependent on others' memories for sustenance. When an angel goes on a hunger strike, the piety of the heavenly is put into question. Meanwhile, the mortal love of Tony and Charlene acts not only as a bond which links all the heavenly, since the pair have lived life to its fullest capacity, all the heavenly eventually come to identify solely with either Tony or Charlene, forgetting even their own identities in the process and, eventually, all who exist shall arrive at the same terminal point.
